The Portes du Soleil offers visitors a unique ski experience: the "ski safari" where you explore  resort to resort, valley to valley on skis - and even from country to country...

Since over 40 years, The Portes du Soleil has been one of the biggest players in world skiing, with 12 linked resorts either side of the French-Swiss border just an hour from Geneva: Abondance, Avoriaz, Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, Les Gets, Montriond, Morzine-Avoriaz, St Jean d'Aulps, Champéry, Morgins, Torgon, Val-d'Illiez - Les Crosets - Champoussin.

This genuine Natural Powder Reserve in the heart of the Alps offers skiers unspoilt surroundings.

The Portes du Soleil ski area is open from 22nd  December 2011 to 15th April 2013. From 15th to 21st April the ski area will be partially open.
