The Vieux They mountain restaurant in Morgins organises its traditional Inalpe Festival with its famous Hérens cow competitions. The cows return to the mountain pastures where they spontaniously compete with each other to establish the herd's hierarchy.
Food available on site: raclette, barbecue, meringues with double cream and home made tarts.
Leave your car in the village and walking up to the farm, a beautiful walk through the They Valley.

The chance for all flower lovers to embellish their balconies, terraces and gardens.
The festive atmosphere will be enhanced by musical entertainment, bar and BBQ.

The Dauphiné Critérium, an exceptional bike race in stages before the Tour de France will stop in the Valais for the 1st time and take place in Switzerland for the 3rd time.
Sunday 2nd June, the top current athletes will tackle the roads of Val D'Illiez and Val D'Abondance and therefore pass through Morgins.
The Stages - June 2012
Sunday 2nd: Champéry-Champéry.
The Course:
The 23 teams of 8 will set off from Champéry at 11.30 am. After a rolling start towards Morgins, they will reach their first challenge: the Morgins Climb, after 12.5 km, the racers will leave the Swiss roads to follow those of the Haute-Savoie. The climb to the Col du Corbier at 75.5 km will leave no respite and an intermediate sprint at the Chapelle D'Abondance at 91.5 km will establish precious points towards the Green Maillot classification. The climb to the Pas-de-Morgins at 101.5 km will prove decisive for the victory of this stage. The Peloton ( or at least those who remain) will return to the Swiss roads at Morgins, pass through Troistorrents and Val-D'Illiez before ending their task with their last challenge, the climb to Champery.

65ème Critérium du Dauphiné
June 02, 2013The resort of Morgins is proud to welcome this internationally reknowned competition(UCI). The elite of downhill MTB will compete during the two days, in order to obtain the best postion in the overall general ranking.
This competition will take place on one of the steepest downhill runs of the resort, which has been specially re-landscaped for the event.
The riders will only have a few heats to prove their skills and beat the stopwatch.
The Morgins Downhill Site will be under the spotlights, for the enjoyment of competitors and spectators alike.

IXS Swiss Downhill Cup
From 08 to 09 June 2013The Wild MTB trek in both France and Switzerland!
The MTB Pass'Portes du Soleil is a mixture of impressive and unforgettable moments, shared sporting memories and a load of laughs it has to be done (or redone). The 80 km circuit use 15th lifts. Different variations will be organized for mountain bikers wishing to cycle up hill.
The trek takes one day, and participants can choose whether to ride it on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
